Bennett Stewart

Bennett Stewart, chairman and chief executive, was a co-founder in 1982 of Stern Stewart & Co., the global consulting firm that pioneered the development and corporate applications of EVA.  He was the principal creator of the EVA framework.  He formed EVA Dimensions in 2006 to acquire the EVA brand and related technologies from Stern Stewart to provide services in the fields of financial benchmark data, performance management and valuation software, and investment research and funds management.

Bennett is the author of The Quest for Value, which is regarded as the definitive guide to EVA. He has also written numerous articles on corporate financial management and valuation for publications such as the Harvard Business Review (“Pension Roulette,” “Reform Governance From Within”) and the Morgan Stanley Journal of Applied Corporate Finance (“EVA – Myths and Misconceptions,” “How to fix Accounting: Measure and Reward Economic Profit”).  He has lectured widely and frequently garners the top rating among conference speakers.

A cum laude graduate of Princeton University with a degree in electrical engineering (1974), he also holds an MBA degree (1976) from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.  He serves as a member (and former chairman) of the Alumni Advisory Council for Princeton’s Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering, is a member of the Advisory Board for the Morgan Stanley Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, and is a director and member of the audit and compensation committees of ITC Holdings (NYSE:ITC), the nation’s largest independent electric distribution company.


Al Ehrbar

Al Ehrbar, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, also serves as head of marketing and communications.  Prior to the formation of EVA Dimensions, Al was a partner at Stern Stewart & Co. and head of BrandEconomics LLC, a Stern Stewart subsidiary that created the first wholly objective methodology for valuing brands and modeling the impact of brand strategies on business value.  Before launching BrandEconomics, he ran Stern Stewart’s global marketing and the EVA Institute, a continuing education forum for EVA clients. 

Before joining Stern Stewart in 1995, Al spent more than 20 years as one of the most prominent business and financial journalists in the U.S.  He was the youngest person ever elected to Fortune magazine’s Board of Editors and was the first to write about many of the breakthroughs in modern portfolio theory. John Bogle credits Al’s Fortune articles as a prime catalyst to his creation of the Vanguard 500 Index Fund.

Al also has been a senior economics writer at The Wall Street Journal and was editor and publisher of Corporate Finance magazine and chief operating officer of its parent company.  He is the author four books, including the bestselling EVA: The Real Key to Creating Wealth (John Wiley & Sons, 1998).  He has an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Rochester and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern University.


Ling Yang

Ling Yang, executive vice president and director of product development, is a co-founder of EVA Dimensions. She directs the development of EVA databases and applications, and supports the sales team for equity research and corporate finance. Ms. Yang was a vice president of at Stern Stewart & Co., where she started the development of a stock rating system now owned by EVA Dimensions. Prior to joining Stern Stewart, Ling was employed by Shell in China. She served Shell’s investment initiatives, including fuel through-putting, LNG/LPG terminals, retail stations and refinery projects, as a financial specialist. 

Ms. Yang is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. A native of China, she holds a B.E. in industrial management from Jiao Tong University. In US, she has an MBA from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. She is the co-author of “The Investors Guide to EVA and PRVit.”


Alan Slatas

Alan Slatas, executive vice president for sales and marketing, corporate software and data products.  Alan joined EVA Dimensions in 2008 with over 20 years of experience working with senior executives in major corporations.  He was a regional vice president for business development with the Balanced Scorecard and served as founder and vice president of business development at Next Economy Partners, an emerging technology research firm.  Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at Gartner Group as senior director of integrated solutions, developing customized consulting services to help the largest technology vendors with new business initiatives.  Alan received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and economics from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.


Bill Bushing

Bill, executive vice president for sales and marketing, Enterprise software Solutions.

Prior to joining EVA Dimensions, Bill spent over 25 years at leading and early stage technology firms in sales and sales management positions. Most recently Bill held Account Executive roles at Artesian Solutions and at FirstRain, both big data and analytics firms providing web-based intelligence and analytics to global B2B sales teams.

Prior to that Bill held senior sales positions with start-up business performance management solution providers, including Outlooksoft, Cartesis, Business Objects (all acquired by SAP), Longview Solutions and Hyperion Solutions (acquired by Oracle). During his 13 years at Hyperion he held various positions, starting as its first account executive, then as Senior Director of National Accounts.

Bill holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Hobart College and resides in Southport, CT.


Eric Schwarte

Eric Schwarte, senior vice president of corporate services, advises and supports clients in the implementation of our EVA Momentum methodology and our FRS software offering. While at EVAD, Eric has worked with Fortune 500, private and middle-market firms in the evaluation and adoption of EVA as a performance management framework in applications such as strategic plan valuation and target setting, quarterly performance management and benchmarking, capital budgeting and M&A analysis.

Prior to joining EVA Dimensions, Eric spent time in management consulting with IBM’s Strategy & Change group, sales/marketing with Merck & Co, and R&D/product development with Alcon Labs. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from UT Austin and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.


Niko H. Kaden

Niko H. Kaden, sales and implementation representative in Central Europe, advises and supports clients in the implementation of our EVA Momentum methodology and our software offerings in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, and Switzerland.  Niko is an experienced consultant regarding CFO-related topics and specializes in corporate management systems.

Niko’s professional experience includes serving as an auditor for Ernst & Young based out of Washington, D.C. He also has held senior management position in Germany, Belgium, France, and the UK, including as CFO and member of the executive board of a public company in Germany. He currently is the Managing Director of Virtagon International, an executive search and consulting firm that is our strategic partner for German-speaking regions of Europe.

Niko received a master’s degree in accounting from Georgetown University and a combined bachelor’s in economics and MBA degree from Mannheim University in Germany.  He is a CPA from Virginia, has a CMA, and is the President of the IMA chapter in Germany.
