The 2008 US 1000 EVA/MVA Annual Ranking Database is an Excel file that includes 20 years of historical data for EVA, NOPAT, Capital, Return on Capital, Cost of Capital and Future Growth Value (the estimated value derived from capitalizing current EVA), and 15 years of data for Market Value (MV) and Market Value Added (MVA), the definitive measure of shareholder wealth, as well as industry classification and ticker for the 1000 largest U.S. companies. Operating data is for fiscal year 2007 (as reported through May 31st, 2008). Market data is as of end of June 2008.
The 2008 Russell 3000 EVA/MVA Annual Ranking Database is an Excel file that contains the same data for each company in the Russell 3000. The Russell 3000 is a market-capitalization-weighted benchmark index made up of the 3000 largest U.S. stocks, which represents about 98% of the U.S. equity market.
